Adjustability

Your Salli Pillow comes with the foam pillow itself and three spacers (1 cm, 2 cm, and 3 cm) that allow you to adjust the height.

1. Place the pillow on your bed and lie down in your usual sleeping position.

2. Ask someone to check from the side that your neck and upper back are in a straight line.

– If your head tilts too far upward, the spacer is too thick.

– If it drops too low, the spacer is too thin.

3. Experiment with the different spacer combinations until your head and neck stay aligned with your spine.

4. Once you’ve found the right height, place the pillow and spacers inside the pillowcases so that.

– The tighter pillowcase keeps the pillow neatly together.

– The looser one works as a washable cover.

Sleeping alone or together

When sleeping alone in a bed 120 cm wide or larger, the most optimal setup for side sleepers is to place a wide 120 cm head pillow at the head of the bed and one body pillow on each side by the edges. This way, you can turn smoothly during the night while keeping all pillows in the right place.

If you share the bed (120 cm or wider), you can use our shorter head pillow models, 60 cm or 80 cm. Place the head pillow at the top of your own side of the bed, and set one body pillow on either side of you for proper support throughout the night.

Positioning of Your Head, Arms and Legs

To gain the benefits of uninterrupted blood flow in the neck area, place your head on the pillow so that it reaches up to your jaw and no further. This way, you get the support you need while keeping the sensitive neck area free, allowing the lymphatic system to work effectively and cleanse the brain and body during the night.

If you are a side sleeper, rest your upper leg on top of the Body Pillow. This prevents the unhealthy spinal rotation that often causes stiffness and pain in the hips and lower back. The upper arm can also rest on the Body Pillow, further preventing unwanted body rotation during the night.

Your lower arm can find its place wherever it feels most comfortable. However, we recommend resting it gently on top of the head pillow for the most balanced sleeping position.

Turning and uninterrupted sleep

Our ergonomic sleep setup is designed to help you achieve uninterrupted rest, as the pillows stay in place and do not need to be moved around during the night. We recommend using a large duvet and a double bed (120 cm or wider), even if you sleep alone. This allows you to have Body Pillows on both sides of the bed and to turn smoothly under the covers during the night.

With all pillows waiting in their proper place, there is no need to adjust or move them, ensuring your sleep remains steady and undisturbed. Below, you’ll find a demonstration of our ideal sleeping setup.

Back or Side sleeping

The optimal placement of your head on the Head Pillow depends on your sleeping position. The pillow is designed with a shaped hollow in the middle to support back sleepers, allowing the back of the head to rest slightly lower.

For side sleepers, the head is meant to rest on the raised sides of the pillow, where the height is optimal for side sleeping and balanced sleep ergonomics.

Remember to adjust the pillow with the included spacers to achieve the most suitable height for your head and personal comfort.
